Kelly Keturah Dowden Sanderson, 50, of Nederland, died Saturday, May 26, 2018. She was born on December 25, 1967, in Nederland, Texas, to L. Wayne Dowden, Sr. and Myrtle Lee Dowden.

Survivors include her daughter, Jacquelyn Richards and husband, Danny, of Groves; mother, Myrtle Lee Dowden of Nederland; brothers, Larry Dowden and wife, Nena, of Nederland, Phillip Dowden and wife, Cheryl, of Nederland, sisters, Rene' Jones and husband, Chuck, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Naomi Lynn Laday of Port Arthur. Kelly is also survived by her grandsons, Karson, Kalon and Kanon and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kelly was preceded in death by her dad, L. Wayne Dowden.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Nederland. A memorial service will be held in the Fellowship Hall, FBC Nederland, at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018.
