Ken Jewett, 89, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away August 12, 2021. He was born in Northfield, Vermont on February 6, 1932 to the late Fred Jewett and Florence Machia Jewett. Ken was strong in his Catholic faith, patient, and did not anger easily. He served his county proudly in the U. S. Army and was a WWII Veteran. He loved bowling, working jigsaw puzzles, and was an avid NASCAR fan. Ken never met a stranger and was a true people person. He even earned the title Top Salesman at Bartow Ford in Florida. Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He will be truly missed.
Those left to cherish Ken’s memory are his wife of 21 years, Charlotte Simonds; his children, Alan Jewett and Nancy Hopson; his grandchildren, Nicole Brigham and wife Melissa and Carrie Siegfried; his great-grandchildren, Timothy Cassell, Nicholas Cassell, Alyssa Ryan, Brooke Siegfried, and James Siegfried; his great-great-grandchildren, Aubrey Taylor and Levi Cassell; and his nephew, David Guyette. He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughters, Denise Jewett and Lisa Jewett; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
