Kenneth Lindberg Bodden, 90, of Groves passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas. He was born on December 21, 1927 in British West Indies, Grand Cayman to Laymond Bodden and Agnes Ebanks Bodden. Kenneth had lived in Groves since 1952 and was a member of Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. He retired from Texaco as a Seaman Chief Engineer after 35 years of service. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Mr. Jay Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be held before the service on Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Bodden, son, Larry Bodden, brothers, Cleveland, Jim and Allenby and sisters, Iola and Ethney. He is survived by his two sons, Kenneth Bodden, Jr. of Groves and Steven Bodden and wife Julie of Lafayette, LA, sister, Elsa Franklin of Jacksonville, FL, two grandchildren, Steven Bodden, II and wife Crystal and Dillon Bodden and wife Hillary, and one great grandson Thomas Bodden.
