Kenneth H. Stark, Sr., 86, of Beauxart Gardens passed away Friday, March 25, 2011 at his residence. He was born August 22, 1924 in Crowley, Louisiana to the late Joney and Lena Moore Dallas Stark, and lived in Beauxart Gardens since 1929. He retired as an operator for Neches Butane with 37 years of service. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland and served his country in the U.S. Marines during WWII and fought in the battles of Midway, Peleliu, and Okinawa.A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 28, 2011 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland, Msgr. Dan Malain celebrant with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland under the ion of Melancon39s Funeral Home 1605 Avenue H in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Sunday with a rosary to be held at 6 PM at the funeral home.Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, two brothers, his daughter, Carolyn Boneaux, soninlaw, Jerry Mallory, and great granddaughter, Ashlyn Raborn. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Concienne Stark of Beauxart Gardens three daughters, Sheron Mallory of Nederland, Rene LaHaye and her husband Paul of Beauxart Gardens, and Charlotte Stark of Nederland four sons, Kenney Stark and his wife Linda of Katy, Phillip Stark of Conroe, Wayne Stark of Port Neches, and Brent Stark and his wife Dana of Nederland also twenty three grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Port Arthur Home Health and Odyssey Health Care.
