Kenneth L. Jones

Kenneth L. Jones, 79, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Kenneth was born May 18, 1934 in Vanango County, Pennsylvania to Leslie H. Jones and Goldie Wagner Jones. He was a Port Arthur area resident for 76 years and member of First Baptist Church of Groves. Kenneth retired from Jefferson Chemical after 36 years of service as an electrician and was also a member of IBEW Local #479. Survivors include his daughter, Gina Gilson of Crestview, FL; son, Ken A. Jones and wife, Sharon of Port Neches, TX; sister, Shirley Havard and husband, Morris of Groves, TX; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Rob Duplantis officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
