Kenneth E. Knight

Kenneth E. Knight, age 65 years, of Orange, TX, died on Friday, June 29, 2012 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Lancaster, SC, September 5, 1946 son of the late William Lawson Knight and Mary Adams, he had resided in Texas since 1994, having formerly lived in New Orleans, LA. He was an Electronic Supervisor for Spectra Energy, Houston, TX. A United Stated Navy Veteran, he was currently working on installing pipeline throughout New Jersey and Texas. An avid fisherman, he loved going to casinos and spending time with his wife and family. He was predeceased by a sister, Becky. Surviving, in addition to his mother, is his wife of thirty-eight years, Cheryl Knight; a daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and Brian Schaller of Denham Springs, LA; three sons, Donald R. Knight of Orange, TX, William L. Knight of Sulphur, LA and Christopher Knight of Mt. Holly, NC; Eddie Davis of Mt. Holly, NC, who was like a son to Kenneth; four sisters; and three grandchildren, Brandon L. Schaller, Austin L. Schaller and Olivia L. Schaller, all of Denham Springs, LA. A memorial visitation will be celebrated on Monday, July 9, 2012 from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home, 5601 39th Street, Groves, TX.
