I had the distinct honor to have served in the same unit as Ken in Viet Nam. Ken was a courageous soldier and a great LRRP. Rest in Peace, Old Friend. RLTW!!!

I don't have a particular memory to share, but Kenneth was only a month older than me and I spent my childhood and school years with Kenneth and his siblings. Like most of us growing up in rural Louisiana we were just 'good ole kids' who had no fears, had many parents, spent lots of time in each others' homes, grew up with a willingness to help others, and generally viewed life as a blessing through our Christian values and parents' teachings. After high school I lost contact with Kenneth but his memorial tribute is absolutely beautiful and it appears he had a wonderful life, as he should have. I wish his family laughter, along with the tears, and many beautiful memories. He so looked like his dad, Hub, and it appears he retained his smile throughout his life. Dad taught me how to work hard for what I have. He taught me how to survive in this chaotic world. He instilled the passion of hunting in me and that hard work always pays off. He was at church every Sunday and though he might have gripped a little he was always there to lend a hand. I like to think that he touched many kids ves in one way or another. He was truly a tough man, he stood by and was proud to have served his country. Even in the end it is what took his life, agent Orange but he saved many lives on tours of duty. Please help and remember those that have served this country, past and present in your prays .That is how he would want it to be!

My memory of Kenneth is the day I will never forget. The day that his brother Windel and I was getting married, he had the worst hangover a person could ever have. He was not together that day. We all told them the night before not too drink too much but being a Marze, what is the difference. He was a perfect brother-in-law then, and he and his family has been my family since, will remain my family. Windel and I named our son Michael after him, that makes it even more special. I know the Marze family is rejoicing right now. Will miss him alot, I love you Kenneth. Mary Ann Ferguson{Marze}

God received another special soul in heaven yesterday. Kenneth was a remarkable man, who had no enemies. When my son Aaron married his daughter Angel, Kenneth took him under his wing and treated him as his own son, which I am so grateful. He loved his family and friends with his whole heart. He was so proud of all his children and grandchildren. It was an honor to know him and he will be missed by all of us.
