Kenneth Randall “Randy” Powell, 76, of Nederland, Texas joined his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, October 31, 2022. Randy was born December 18, 1945 in Orange, Texas to Pearce and Betty Jo Powell.

Randy was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Port Neches, Texas, and a member of The Southeast Texas Veteran’s Service Group.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Pearce G. Powell and Betty Jo (Gaston) Powell.

Those left behind to cherish Randy’s memory are his loving wife of fifty-five years, Sandra Powel of Nederland, Texas; his beloved daughters, Kelley Powell Faulk and her husband, Bert of Port Neches, Texas; Amy Powell Duplantis and her husband, Brian of Port Neches, Texas; Joanna Powell Lane and her husband, Bryan of Nederland, Texas; grandchildren, Lauren Cherry and her husband, Lane; Savannah Faulk, Jacob Duplantis, Bailey Mitchell and her husband, Caleb; Sydney Faulk and Abigail Duchamp; great grandchildren, Missy Cherry and Jane Mitchell; brother, Rodney Powell of Nederland, Texas.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Melancon’s Funeral Home. A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 4, 2022, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church; 2425 Nall St., Port Neches, Texas 77651. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens; 4560 TX-87, Orange, Texas 77630.
