He was born July 11, 1944 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Robert and Thelma Bourgeois Hilton. He retired after 30 years of service as a draft man with the Port Arthur Fire Department. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Groves. He served his country proudly in the National Guard for 6 years.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Groves on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Port Arthur. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon39s Funeral Home in Nederland on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m.Kenneth is survived by his wife, Debbie Chatagnier Hilton of Groves 2 daughters, Michelle Byrd and husband, Tracy of Beaumont and Kristy Cope and husband, Darren of Nederland 4 sons, Kevin Hilton of Groves, Brett Hilton of Groves, Keith Hilton and wife Charisse of Groves, and Donny Hilton of Groves 2 sisters, Lou Ellen Hebert and husband, Don of Wildwood, and Debra Tauber of Dayton 2 brothers, Jimmy Hilton and wife, Patsy of Winfree, and Glynn Hilton and wife Debbie of Groves sisterinlaw, Sandy Hilton of Lumberton and 9 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Hilton.
