Kenneth W. quotSnakequot Hilton, 67, of Groves, Texas passed away at his home with his family by his side. He was born July 11, 1944 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Robert and Thelma Bourgeois Hilton. He retired after 30 years of service as a draft man with the Port Arthur Fire Department. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Groves. He served his country proudly in the National Guard for 6 years.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Groves on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Port Arthur. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon39s Funeral Home in Nederland on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m.Kenneth is survived by his wife, Debbie Chatagnier Hilton of Groves 2 daughters, Michelle Byrd and husband, Tracy of Beaumont and Kristy Cope and husband, Darren of Nederland 4 sons, Kevin Hilton of Groves, Brett Hilton of Groves, Keith Hilton and wife Charisse of Groves, and Donny Hilton of Groves 2 sisters, Lou Ellen Hebert and husband, Don of Wildwood, and Debra Tauber of Dayton 2 brothers, Jimmy Hilton and wife, Patsy of Winfree, and Glynn Hilton and wife Debbie of Groves sisterinlaw, Sandy Hilton of Lumberton and 9 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Hilton.
