I had the pleasure of working with Kent "Bucket" , he was a pleasant person to be around and always had a smile on his face. I never heard him say one bad word about anyone. RIP my friend, Kerry Freeman

When I was a little girl, I had a very big appetite, and every time the family got together Uncle Kent would always say with a big smile on his face, "Girl, you must have holes in your feet". Family gatherings, beach trips, cook outs, and crawfish boils were always the most fun with Uncle Kent there to brighten everyone's day. You will always be in my heart. I love you!

My condolences to Kent's family. Kent was a good man who I had the pleasure of knowing from attending Nederland schools and also as a co-worker at the rubber plant in Port Neches. The one thing I will remember most about Kent is the story of how he obtained his nickname of "bucket". He was a proud individual who could tell some very funny stories and also had the ability to laugh at himself. He will be missed all who had the distinct pleasure of having him in their life at some point. May you Rest in Peace Kent!

Kent was my brother-in-law. He was one of the most kind, and generous souls I have ever known. He loved his family, and was always there to lend a helping hand. I have many treasured memories of him that I am grateful for. Our family was blessed when he came into it. He will be greatly missed. We love you Kent. May God's Light Shine upon you, and may you Rest in the love and Peace of our Lord. Amen. Kathleen Black
