Kim Dale Frank left his earthly home on August 30,2023, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's. Kim was born in Jefferson County Texas on Jan. 10, 1954, to the late Melba Frank and the late Charles Frank.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
He was a father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a 1973 graduate of Port Neches Groves High School. He retired from DuPont Orange after over 30 years of dedicated service. Kim was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. Kim prided himself on helping others, and making others lives better. If he did not leave you with a smile, he had not done his job. You could always find him helping a neighbor, baking a cake, or playing handyman to a friend in need. Over the past few years, he had made a name for himself as "The Crawfish Cornbread King" around Southeast Texas and Middle Georgia. He could often be seen at his favorite spot, Benoit's, dancing, talking, and sharing his food gifts. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Kim is preceded in death by his twin sister, Mihail , brother Kerry Frank, brother Kenneth Frank, and granddaughter Adalyn Thibodeaux
He leaves behind a daughter Michelle Baird of Dublin, GA; stepdaughter Erin Thibodeaux (Brandon) of China, TX, stepson Quentin Ebner (Kimberly) of Hamshire, TX, grandchildren Arilyn Erickson, Gavin Erickson, Jack DeHart, Parks Baird, Lily Baird, Katelyn Ebner, Jacob Ebner, Cooper Ebner, Aubrey Thibodeaux, and Grayson Thibodeaux. Survived by Brother David Kirt Frank and Sister Kriste Bossley.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Hope for HIE (hopeforhie.org) as a show of love for his bond with Aubrey, or the Michael J. Fox Foundation (michaeljfox.org) to continue the fight against Parkinson's Disease
