Kristy Michelle Lytle, 37, of Groves gained her wings and took her heavenly flight Sunday, April 5, 2020, her battle with cancer has ended and is free from pain. She told us "God wants me now so be strong". She was born on December 15, 1982, to parents Sherry Lentschke Lytle and Ronald "Ronnie" David Lytle, in Nederland, Texas. Kristy was known as a tiny firecracker with a kind disposition and a willingness to help others. She had compassion for the underdog and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Kristy was a Golden Triangle native and had a passion for children and helping others. She attended school in Nederland, Texas and was home schooled when she graduated. She held many positions in her life, Pharmacy Tech, Office Assistant for attorney Terry Doyle, and Retail Merchandising, but her heart was with helping children, the disabled, and people recovering from addiction. Kristys greatest love was her 19 year old daughter, Emily A. Diaz. Being a mother was where she thrived. From, gymnastics to football games she enjoyed being with her daughter. Kristy aka Aunt KiKi was a loving and devoted Aunt to her nephew Jaden. They had a special bond and amazing connection. Kristy was preceded in death by her father, Ronald David Lytle. Surviving relatives include her mother, Sherry Lytle of Port Arthur, Texas; daughter, Emily A. Diaz of Port Arthur, Texas; sister, Misty Adams and husband Gilbert of Beaumont, Texas; grandmothers, Lillian "Sweetie" Guidry of Port Arthur, Texas and Carolyn Lentschke of Port Neches, Texas; and nephew, Jaden White of Lumberton, Texas. Private services are under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home Port Neches with a Public Memorial Service to be held at a later date.
