Larry Allen Gadberry

Larry Allen Gadberry, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2024, at the age of 85 in Independence, Missouri. Born on July 15, 1939, in Hutchinson, Kansas, he exemplified a life dedicated not only to his profession but also to his family, making indelible impacts on all who had the privilege to know him.

Larry devoted his career to being a Paint and Body Shop Manager, where he earned the respect of his colleagues and customers alike through his unwavering commitment and skilled craftsmanship. His contributions to the field were marked by excellence and a relentless drive for quality that set him apart in the automotive industry.

In addition to his professional accolades, Larry was revered as a loving grandfather, a role he cherished deeply. He proudly witnessed the growth of his family, including his daughters, Margaret "Shellee" Baidenmann, Jill Renee Eanes, Georgia Michal Suarez, Hally Rachelle Lewis, and son, Michael K. Gadberry, as well as eight grandchildren, Jacob Eanes, Joey Eanes, Christopher Marsh, Tyler Marsh, Bryan Marsh, Aaron Marsh, Katy Gadberry, and Caroline Gadberry; nineteen great-grandchildren, Mikayla Hubert, Elijah Suarez, Christian Suarez, Dru Eanes, James Lewis, Lauren Lewis, Conner Marsh, Alivia Marsh, Adeline Marsh, Avenlea Marsh, Amelia Marsh, Vera Marsh, Jacob Eanes, Devin Eanes, Alivia Eanes, Bradley Eanes, Ryan Eanes, Hannah Eanes and Maddox Diaz; and four great-great-grandchildren, Trey Hubert, Reece Hubert, Adrian Suarez, and Aryah Suarez.  Larry is also survived by his sister, Paula Gadberry Small.  He embraced his family with open arms and a nurturing spirit, leaving behind a legacy of love and guidance.  

Larry was predeceased by his devoted wife, Georgia Gay Gadberry, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Gadberry and Eva Stout Darrah, who instilled in him the values that he passed down through generations, as well as brother, Jim Gadberry; sister, Lila Hodges; sister, Linda Pitts; brother, Roger Gadberry; sister, Darla Gadberry; and brother, Randy Gadberry.

While Larry's physical presence will be sorely missed, his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his kindness and generosity. He will be remembered fondly for his laughter, unwavering support, and the love he so freely shared with those around him. In honoring his memory, we celebrate a life well-lived, rich with love, dedication, and cherished connections.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Larry, the last few years of his life. His love for Christ and his family was forefront and everything he said and did. I know he was humbled and overcome with joy when he hit those pearly gates and saw his Savior.
