Dear Carol, David and family. Larry and I are so sorry for your loss. We did not find out until after the funeral. Larry was such a wonderful, loving, caring CHRISTIAN man. Carol you were so blessed to have him as your life partner and most of all friend. He loved you so much. You could see it in his eyes when he looled at you. I will never forget his smile and how he always greeted people at churdh with that wonderful smile always. He never met a stranger. David how truly blessed you were to have him for your dad. He truly was someone to emulate your life after. To the rest of the family you have lost a wonderful fatherinlaw and grandfather. Much love and prayer are going your way. To the family of Larry Hathaway my deepest sincere sympathy. I truly was shocked and very saddened to know Larry had to leave us so suddenly. Larry, truly was such a wonderful person to know through High School and then later on in years seeing him at the baseball and football games supporting his dear Grandson Ryland. Larry, was still the same sweet friend. Larry, truly was such a pleasure to have as such a dear friend. The class of 62 will miss you also. You will always be deeply missed. We will see you again as a very large family someday. Walk slowly Larry, and wait for us. Love you lots my dear friend. My love, thoughts and prayers are with your precious family.Love always,Charlotte Rothman Metreyeon

Dear Carol,I remember Larry in school. He was reserved and quiet like me. Maybe he raised more ruckus later, but he still seemed like the quiet boy who was gracious and kind to everyone he met. We will miss him. May God wrap you in his love and comfort you in the days ahead. Please call us if we can help you in any way.Love,Alice and Leroy

He was always so supportive and complimentary of the choir at FBC Nederland the songs sung and especially the Christmas programs performed. Every time I ran into him, he had a smile on his face and a kind word. I am sad and the world has lost a good, Christian man. He will be missed.
