Lauren C. Rankin, age 21, died in Lumberton, Texas, on Friday, June 1, 2012.She was born on December 17, 1990 in Nederland, Texas. She worked at Lamar Port Arthur during the summer, helping out with the Discovery program for children. She loved helping people and loved children. She was a fun loving girl with a heart of gold. Everyone who came across her heart of gold loved her and could never forget that smile. Lauren39s smile was one in a million. Her loyalty to her friends was unbelievable.Lauren and her siblings Kaylen Dylan were as close as close could get. She loved them very much. She was a daddy39s girl by far but loved her mother more than words could explain. There was no one else like Lauren Christina Rankin and we want her to fly high in the sky.Survivors include her mother, Terri Rankin father and stepmother, Jeff and Dana Rankin grandparents, Judy and Larry O39Neal Gene Arnaud and Doris Sparks sisters, Kaylen Rankin Macy Martinez brothers, Dylan Rankin and Chad McDonald uncles, Paul Bienvenue, Timothy O39Neal, Tory Canfil, and Bob Hollis aunts, Samantha Pitre, Tracy Ivy, Rita Canfil, and Glenda Durkey nephew, Kayden McDonald cousins, Josh Ivy, Ashlynn Ivy, Tanner Ivy, Sara Ivy, Hannah Ivy, Dustin Canfil, Chasen Canfil, Bo Jones, Tane Jones, and Noah Jones.
