Lauren C. Rankin, age 21, died in Lumberton, Texas, on Friday, June 1, 2012.She was born on December 17, 1990 in Nederland, Texas. She worked at Lamar Port Arthur during the summer, helping out with the Discovery program for children. She loved helping people and loved children. She was a fun loving girl with a heart of gold. Everyone who came across her heart of gold loved her and could never forget that smile. Lauren39s smile was one in a million. Her loyalty to her friends was unbelievable.Lauren and her siblings Kaylen Dylan were as close as close could get. She loved them very much. She was a daddy39s girl by far but loved her mother more than words could explain.
