Lea Ann Broussard, 44 of Port Acres, Texas passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018. Lea Ann was born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 27, 1974 to Cecil J. Broussard and the late Winnie Rabeaux Broussard.
Lea Ann was a dedicated parishioner at Saint Therese the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church where she was an active and longtime member of the choir.
Those left to cherish Lea Ann’s memory are her loving father, Cecil J. Broussard of Port Acres; her siblings, Craig L. Broussard and his partner, Gerald Benoit of Port Arthur, Lisa Johnson and her husband, Robert of Nederland, Eric Broussard and his wife, Kristen of Beaumont, Scott J. Broussard and his wife, Kerri of Nederland, and Lori Cappel and her husband, Calvin (deceased) of Nederland; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Salisbury and her husband, Aaron, Chase Mitchell, Allison Flagstaff and her husband, Kyle, Chelsy Broussard, Jacob Broussard and his wife, Kelsey, Elyse Broussard, Jackson Broussard and his wife, Kaci, Lauren Broussard, Colton Broussard, Landon Broussard, Sarah Mounkes and her husband, Mason, Hannah DeRouen, Kryssa Zenon and Dazja Zenon; great nieces and nephews, Eloise Mounkes, Amelia Mounkes and Tice Broussard.
Lea Ann is preceded in death by her mother, Winnie Broussard; her sister, Donna Kay Broussard, and her two loving pets, Sister and Sister, Jr.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Wednesday, December 19, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Therese the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church in Port Acres on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., with Father Rejimon George, Celebrant.
