Lee Udell "Dell" Williams, 82, of Groves, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 26, 2017. Dell was born March 12, 1935 in Port Arthur, Texas, and graduated from Port Neches Groves High School. Dell was a lifelong area resident and a member of Magnolia Assembly of God Church in Port Neches, where he was involved in many ministries of the church. He retired from Star Enterprise as head operator after 40 years of service and was owner of Williams Heat and Air for 50 years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed gardening and fishing. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Phyllis Sexton William of Groves; three daughters, Becky Wilcox of Maple Plains, MN, Alicia Mendoza and Della Williams both of Groves; son, Terry Williams and wife Judy of Nederland; sister, Dorothy Anderson of Groves; brother, Frank Williams of Mont Belvieu; grandchildren, Sabrina Wilcox, Denver Williams and wife Dana, Natasha Williams, and Parker Martinez; and six great-grandchildren. Dell was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Jefferson Williams and Alma Miller Williams; and sister, Katherine Reeves. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 8, 2017 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Brent Williams and Reverend Frank Williams officiating. Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

dear Williams family---so sorry to hear of your loss--know that you will miss dell so much but....today dell is freed from the bondage of the disease that held him---dancing on streets of gold--in the presence of his LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST and with his precious loved ones gone on before him. we have wonderful memories of our friendship with dell and all of the Williams family---until we all meet over there on heaven's shore---GOD'S LOVE, COMFORT, HUGS----Thurman and pat bell
