Leetrice Chaisson Ledet, 83, of Port Arthur, Texas died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Cypress Glen. Leetrice was born August 16, 1927 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Nat Chaisson and Berdie Diamond Chaisson. She was a lifelong area resident and retired Branch Manager of Fidelity Savings and Loan and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and former member of Port Arthur La Sertoma. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Reverend Monsignor Bennie Patillo officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2011 at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jules Ledet, daughter, Suzette Ledet and infant son, Joel Ledet. Surviving relatives include three daughters, Helen Ann Lack and husband, Weldon of Groves, Texas; Natalee Cross of Baytown, Texas; Jane Ledet of The Woodlands, Texas; son, Larry Ledet of Missouri City, Texas; eight grandchildren, Jill Lack, Katie Ledet, Joel Lack and wife, Joyce, Jeffrey Lack and wife, Brittanie, Brian Cross, Jace Cross, Paul Ledet and wife, Jennifer and David Ledet; five great grandchildren, Andrew Lack, Micah Lack, Audrey Lack, Madeline Lack, and Anevay Ledet. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hughen School, 2849 Ninth Avenue, Port Arthur, Texas 77642 or charity of choice.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I enjoyed Mrs. Ledet every Friday at mass at Cypress Glen. She loved mass and would sing along with all the hymns. I will be praying for your Family. Missy Granger
