Leola Mae Muntz

Leola "Ola" Mae Muntz, 81 of Groves, Texas passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 at Promise Hospital in Nederland, Texas. Ola Mae was born May 8, 1930 in Sour Lake, Texas to Henry Glaze and Beatrise Reavis Glaze. She was a homemaker and resident of Groves for 70 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Muntz, Sr.; daughter, Alice Wyatt; six sisters and one brother. Survivors include two daughters, Helen Theriot and Linda Theriot both of Port Arthur, TX; two sons, John Muntz, Jr. and wife, Angel of Sour Lake, TX, and James Muntz of Groves, TX; eight grandchildren, Michael Chang, Christy Chang, Kourtney Wyatt, Corbin Muntz, Justin Muntz, Ashton Muntz, Gage Muntz, and Elliott Muntz;one great grandchild, Cal-el Jones. Funeral services will be at 2:00p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Steve Collazo officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
