Some of my memories of Leon and her family: Watching the moonlanding at her house, spending summers at Cow Creek, going to see Elvis at the Astrodome, the times at Art and Flowers, talking to Leon after the fire and her saying everything was OK because it was "just stuff", her dog Zeus, listening to her wonderful stories, and trips to New Orleans. She was wonderful.

Very special lady..although it has been many years since I've seen her,she is in my heart and always will be. She made you feel welcome always and was a very giving person. Her parties/get togethers were always the best and I remember she always had little guest gifts/goodie bags to take with you when you left. My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family...love you guys...from one of the N.17th Str. neighborhood family
