Leonard “Lenny” Purgahn, 69, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at his residence in Orange, Texas.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

Lenny was born in San Antonio, Texas, on October 4, 1953, to Ernest Charles Purgahn and Margaret Norwood-Purgahn. He worked as a truck driver/heavy equipment operator. Lenny had the biggest smile and greatest laugh he lit up the room when he came in. He was always the life of the party. During his free time, he enjoyed fishing or doing yard work and he especially loved racing with his nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son, Charles Purgahn of Orange, TX; four grandchildren, Dylan, Kiley, Ashlyn, and Stella Purgahn; his sisters, Linda Waldrep of Nederland, TX; Laura Purgahn of Port Acres, TX; his brother, Charles Purgahn and wife Sandy of Kingwood, TX; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
