Leroy Lancon, 64, of Orangefield, Texas passed away on November 1, 2014 at his home in Orangefield. He was born in Galena Park, Texas on January 18, 1950 to late Vivian "Podgie" and Darlene Lancon.
Leroy is survived by his son, Trevor Lancon and Trevor’s fiancée, Karen Baker of Richmond, Texas; grandson, Chandler Lancon of Nederland, Texas; sisters, Vivian and husband, Byron Carr of Port Lavaca, Texas; Linda and husband, Mike Phillips of Bacliff, Texas; and Carrie and husband, Stubby Stubblefield of Sugarland, Texas; brother, Ronnie and wife, Jacque Lancon of Bacliff, Texas. Leroy is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Damian Lancon.
Leroy worked at Chevron Phillips for 35 plus years in Port Arthur, Texas as a mechanical analyst.
A Memorial service will be at held at 10:00a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Melancon's Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas., with Pastor Bud Davis of Common Grounds Community Church officiating.
