He also served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1963.A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Msgr. Dan Malain celebrant.Lee is survived by his wife, Elda Matte Richard of Nederland daughter, Michelle Zahradnik and husband Bobby of Nederland 2 sons, Chad Richard and fiance39 Wendi LeBlanc of Nederland and Jeff Richard and wife Pamela of Magnolia, Texas 9 grandchildren, Hannah, Sean, Callie, Sami, Sadie, Brittany, Brock, Adam, Aaron 2 greatgrandchildren, Harley and Harmony and sister, Jackie Ackerman.He is preceded in death by his parents 2 brothers, Robert Morvant and John Richard, Sr.
