Leslie Joseph Hanna, 69, a lifelong Groves, TX resident, went to his eternal resting place on June 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, after a 10 year hard fought battle with cancer. He was born on December 25, 1955, to James and Idelia Hanna. He was a beloved Husband, dad, pawpaw, brother and friend who will be deeply missed. He was a 1974 graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School. He worked in the petrochemical industry for over 40 years, ending his career at DuPont in Orange, TX.

Leslie was known for his unwavering dedication to his family, his contagious smile, and his big hugs. He was a friend to everyone, never meeting a stranger. His daughters, Megan and Holly were his pride and joy. Leslie enjoyed spending time with his family at his happy place on Toledo Bend Lake and taking his grandkids fishing. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching football and playing with his grandkids.

Leslie and the love of his life, Becky, were married for 47 years. Their unwavering love, commitment, and support for each other was the foundation of the life they built together.

Leslie is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Becky, his daughter, Megan Lunceford of Port Neches, and her husband, Aaron, his daughter, Holly Rickman of Round Rock, and her husband Ricky. Grandkids Braelyn and Bohan Lunceford and Remi and Roman Rickman. His brothers Jimmy Hanna of Groves, Ronnie Hanna and his wife Vickie of Port Acres, Dale Hanna and his wife Margie of Port Neches, and many nieces and nephews.

His visitation and celebration of life will be held at Immaculate Conception - St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Groves followed by burial at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches. Visitation will be July 1st 10:00-11:30, rosary 11:30-12:00, service 12-12:30. Following the service, family and friends are invited to a gathering at Immaculate Conception - St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church Hall.
