Lester M. quotWilliequot Williams, 61, of Port Arthur, died September 30, 2010 at his residence with his family and friends by his side.A memorial service will be held Friday, October 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with Msgr. Bennie Patillo officiating.Lester was born August 13, 1949 in Front Royal, Virginia to the late Lester James and Gladys May Williams. He lived in Denver, Colorado for twenty years before moving to Port Acres eleven years ago. Lester was the owner and operator of Williams Painting and Decorating for thirtyeight years. He also served his country in the U.S. Army Signal Corp during the Viet Nam Conflict.Lester was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Michael J. Keneson, his sisters, Shirley Williams, Ruby Fogarty, and Kitty Via also his nephew Richard Riggins. He survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Barbara G. Comeaux, Keneson, Williams of Port Acres sons, Marvin quotBuddyquot Williams of Colorado, and Robert F. Williams his sisters, Marion Staples and her husband Tommy, Gladys Knight, and Dori Wilkinson also his granddaughter, Brooke A. Keneson. Other survivors include numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
