Letha Charlene Jacobs, 82, of Port Neches, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at her home.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 9, 2023, at West Hamilton Missionary Baptist Church & Cemetery, in Shelbyville, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Billy Windham.

Letha was born in Port Neches, Texas, on January 7, 1941, she was the daughter of Robert Earl Cumber and Theresa June Brandin. She was a member of Eastern Star #677 for over fifty years, the majority of her lifetime. Letha knew how to make a house feel like a home, she spent her years dedicated to her home and family. Letha and her husband, Glynn Jacobs, were married for 65 years, 3 months, and 7 days. She loved her family and friends, and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Cumber and Theresa Brandin; and her sister, Billie Reece.

She is survived by her loving husband, Glynn Jacobs of Port Neches; children, Vickie Williams and husband, Earl of Port Arthur, Kevin Jacobs and wife, Rachael of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Mandy Richards, Candace Nini, Kristin Williams and husband, Tony, Sierra Jacobs Hall and husband, Ian; great-grandchildren, Makayla and Madison Nini, Layton and Teagan Richards, Camden, Jackson, Graycen, and Mackenzie Fitzwater; as well as her sister, Delores Fisette of Groves.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice, as well as Denise and Shakela for all the love and care provided to Letha.
