Jim...Saw that your dad went to be with the Lord this week. The departure is so shocking but then his peace comes into the room and you know that this is what his desire was to make heaven his home one day. and that day has arrived and his homecoming one of joy. I know it is rough for you to experience that, for he was very special to you and to all that knew him. A great gentleman who shared his faith with those he was around. A friend to all. We will miss him but knowing that he is in a better place helps us to let him go. He had hope and this is so important. You will carry on and make a difference as you have always. You are very special and are loved by so many. so let it get to you for a short time knowing that he is alright. makes it easier. Remember the good times you had together. we will be praying for your strength during the services. Could not be there have a committment but will pray for your strength and for the others that attend. After the services rest and you will feel better after the closureof the services. May they be beautiful and good words be said about this awesome young man. love and appreciate you and your friendship. Ruth P.S.He was surprise when he step out of his body and realized that he was going to see Jesus, whom he loved so much. He was a good friend and was always the same happy gentleman. You were such a blessing to your dad. You will miss him being being with you. caring for him and helping him and adjusting to life without him will take some time. 6 months to a year any longer will bring you into depression and it will be harder to rise up out of depression. This is what was told to us. You will always have the memories and be sure to talk about him and place his pictures into an album and this will bring closure and healing to you. He has a new body and is enjoying his new home. Such freedom there. You are very strong and good things are coming your way. so rejoice knowing that dad is alright. It will help to picture his excitment. signing off for now. your friends. the awesome beauty of heaven. He will enjoy his new home and will see you again when you step inside the gates and there will be an awesome reunion when your mom and dad and others that are in that perfect place to live.
