Lezima Bolton, 85, of Port Neches, Texas passed away April 16, 2012 at Cypress Glen Nursing and Rehab of Port Arthur, Texas. She was born October 16, 1926 in New Caney, Texas to the late Joseph Pierre and Mable Atkinson Matt. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Melancon39s Funeral Home in Nederland, Rev. Dr. David Mahfouz officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Chester, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at the funeral home.Lezima was preceded in death by her parents husband, Jefferson Benson Bolton and sons, Ralph Lane and Glenn Robert Bolton. She is survived by her son, Jeff Bolton and wife, Sheryl of Bridge City daughter, Jo Ann Bolton and husband, Michael Dunlap of Owings, Maryland 3 grandsons, Greg Bolton and wife, Kelly of Spring, Eric Bolton and wife, Megan of Spring, and Robert Bolton of Port Neches, and 4 greatgrandchildren, Deja Bolton, Ben Bolton, Christine Roberts, and Cole Roberts.

Aunt Lezima was the babythe sweet, cherished baby sister. With her passing, an era is over. I know that Polly, Lona, Joe, and Herbie are waiting for her they are all together now.
