Lillie Mae Johnson Hock

Lillie Mae Johnson Hock, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born on August 4, 1929 in Chicot, Louisiana to the late Leonard Martin and Elizabeth West Martin. Lillie was loved dearly by her family, friends and church members. She served in numerous positions at Calvary Baptist Church in Port Acres. “Mawmaw” Lillie was especially loved by all the children that entered her life and she welcomed all their hugs and kisses. If you knew Lillie, then you know you were truly blessed.

Lillie is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, William D. Hock of Port Neches; children, Jerry Johnson & wife, Theresa of Nederland, David Johnson & wife, Heather of Groves; grandchildren, Candice Whitmire & husband, James of Nederland, Jeremy Johnson & wife, Krystle of Bridge City and Timothy Johnson & wife, Courtney of Roanoke, Virginia; 5 great grandchildren, 6 step children, 5 step grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Shelton D. Johnson; son, Bobby Johnson; brothers, Louis and Willie Martin.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Port Acres with Bro. Jeff Bell officiating. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. The burial will be at Turner Branch Cemetery located at FM 1013, Spurger, TX at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017
