Lillie Ruth Wersig

Lillie Ruth Wersig, 61, of Groves passed away on November 9, 2012. She was born in Port Arthur on March 15, 1951 to the late Rudolph De Los Santos and Lydia Ontiveros. Lillie was a lifelong area resident and was a member of the Lutheran faith, and a 1969 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. She was employed as an inventory coordinator for Market Basket.Lillie is survived by husband, Butch Wersig daughters, Vanessa LaLonde and husband Cris of Kerrville Miranda Dishman and husband Herb of China sisters, Esma Breaux and husband Darryl of Groves Eloise Gallagher of Baytown brother, Richard De Los Santos and wife Dee Dee of Houston. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Michael, Aaron, Eric, Zoie, Adam, Hailey, Mark, Abram, Amanda, Kailar, and HaydonLillie is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Rudy De Los Santos, and her brothernlaw, Mike Gallagher.Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday November 13, 2012 at Melancons Funeral Home 1605 Avenue H in Nederland with Rev. Richard De Los Santos officiating.
