Lilly Daphne Jackson Parsons, 82, of Groves, Texas passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. Lilly was born December 16, 1936 in West Bay, Grand Cayman to Mark Errington Jackson and Elder Maude Ebanks Jackson. Lilly was a longtime Groves resident and member of Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. Lilly was retired from Port Neches Groves ISD as a cafeteria worker after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard L. Parsons Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Locksley Parsons of Groves; daughter, Lana McRoberts and husband Dank of Lumberton; two grandchildren, Christina McRoberts and Douglas McRoberts. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 11, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
