Linda Baca Bargainer, 69, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Monday, May 23, 2016. Linda was born July 1, 1946 in Livingston, Texas to Johnnie Alford and Maxine Thomas Alford McEwin. She was a lifelong area resident and retired grocery woman from Alford's Supermarket in Port Acres as well as working with her husband in Benny's convenience stores. She had worked alongside her dad since she was a young girl. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Belinda Kay Baca and husband, Benny Baca. Linda is survived by three loving sisters, Sharon, Jeanette, and Madeline, nieces, nephews, close friends and extended family. A graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches with Reverend Huck Carter officiating. In lieu of flowers friends wishing to make memorial contributions may send them to the charity of their choice.

RIP Mrs. Linda Love u and Know U are in Heaven with Mr. A and the others you loved dearly. Haven't saw u in awhile and just now found out u passed away. My Condolences to the Family. I use to work at Alford's for many years and often wonder how u were doing and also the boys that use to help me check out please forgive me for not remembering both of the young mens names (they were only young boys at that time), marcus is the only name i remember at this time. Love U Sweet Lady may u Rest in Peace till we meet again. Wendy

Linda was such a loving and sweet lady and loved by everyone that i know.We loved this sweet lady very much.She loved the LORD very much and was very well prepared to meet to meet HIM.

I will miss that sweet lady at the football and baseball games. I have known her since I was a child and she was the sweetest lady ever. She will be missed by so many! To her family and close friends, prayers to you all and may God comfort you at this time and always.
