Linda Anne Godair, 54, of Port Acres passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She was born on April 24, 1960 in Port Arthur to Russell and Norma Watson and was a lifelong resident of Port Acres. Linda retired with 27 years of service from the Port Arthur Independent School District, the last 5 years as a Financial Secretary in the CATE Building. Linda was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to all.

Linda is survived by her husband, Tim Godair of Port Acres; mother, Norma Cormier and husband, Leo of Port Acres; daughter, Wendy Godair of Port Acres; sons, Ryan Godair of Port Acres and Dustin Godair and wife, Megan of Nederland; sisters, Gaye Brown and husband, John of Port Arthur, Leta Watson of Peoria, AZ, and Lynette Watson of Port Acres; and brothers, Danny Watson and wife, Linda of Port Acres and Randy Watson and wife, Sue of Nederland; her mother-in-law, Lois Godair, and her brother and sister-in-laws. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Linda is preceded in death by her father, Russell Watson and brother, Ronnie Watson.

Funeral Services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with her nephew, Rev. Glenn Wolf officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of the family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
