Linda A. Guidroz, age 68, of Port Neches, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on December 10, 1956, in Port Arthur, Texas, Linda was the cherished daughter of James "Jim" and Wilda Vidrine, both of whom have preceded her in death.
Linda devoted her professional life to her career as a Medical Transcriptionist at the Medical Center of S.E. Texas, where her diligence and attention to detail made a lasting impact on her colleagues and the many patients she served. Her work was a testament to her commitment to healthcare and the comfort of others.
Beyond her professional duties, Linda embraced life with a passion for cooking, gardening, and antiquing—activities that brought her immense joy and created beautiful memories for her family. Her love for the culinary arts was evident in her kitchen, where she delighted relatives and friends alike with her delicious creations. In her garden, she nurtured vibrant blooms, creating a serene sanctuary that reflected her nurturing spirit.
Linda is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Jeffery Guidroz, who stood by her side through thick and thin. She is also survived by her beloved and cherished daughter Sarah Guidroz, alongside her boyfriend, Russell O'Dillon in West Palm Beach, Florida, and two beloved sons: Brandon Guidroz, who shares his life with his wife, Tania Nguyen in Austin, Texas; Jonathan Guidroz, who has built a life with his wife, Elizabeth in Hastings, Minnesota. Linda's sisters, Carleen Logan and her husband, Harry, and Judy Darden and her husband, Michael P., will hold her memory close, cherishing the sisterly bonds that defined their lives together.
The visitation to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on March 22, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland, TX 77627. This will be followed by a funeral service from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location, where family and friends will gather to honor her remarkable journey.
