Linda Sue Samford Lowe, 73, of Port Acres, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2022 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas. Linda was born in Port Arthur on August 4, 1948 to the late, Wayland Samford and Julie Whiteside Samford.

Those left to cherish Linda’s memory include her daughter, Julie May and her husband, Johnny of Port Acres, Texas; son, Jody Lowe and his wife, Mandi also of Port Acres; grandchildren, Katie Stevens, Vince May, Jaekob Lowe, Jak Lowe, Marley Lowe and Shanna May; great-grandchildren, Sierra Seymour, Braeden Seymour, Dylan Leggett, Landon Leggett and Addie Stevens.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Wayland Samford and Julie Whiteside Samford and her husband of 43 years, Wade Lowe.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to begin at 3:00 p.m. Linda will be laid to rest with her husband, Wade Lowe at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery located in Dallas, Texas at a later date.
