Linda Caryl Richardson, 69, of Crystal Beach, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at U.T.M.B. Medical Center in Galveston, Texas.

Linda was born on December 20, 1951, in Beaumont, Texas to Louise Hartman Whisnant and Willis Norton Whisnant. She was a retired personnel director for the City of Port Neches for twenty-five years and was a member of the Protestant faith. Linda was an avid reader; enjoyed drinking her wine and spending time at the beach; but most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-two years, Charles Richardson; sons, Kevin Richardson and Jason Richardson and his wife Misty; grandchildren, Dylan Richardson, Dalton Richardson, Jessica Richardson and Candice Potter; great grandchild, Christine Potter; sisters, Becky Stafford and her husband Dennis and Cherry Parker and her husband Jim; her brother, Michael Whisnant and his wife Dee. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Andy Whisnant.

A Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Melancon Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas with a Chapel Service to Honor the Life of Linda Caryl Richardson to take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
