Linda Frances Solis

Linda Solis, 75, of Groves passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont. Linda was born on April 1, 1948 in Silsbee, Texas to Charles and Nina Hilton.

Linda was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Nederland and attended Sunday school class, “Visions of Victory”. She was a sales associate for several furniture stores, including Hadley’s Furniture store. Linda loved sewing, making purses and pillows out of leftover fabric.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Ed Hilton and Nina Mae (Forte) Hilton, brothers, Charles Lee Hilton, William Hilton and Jesse Davis Hilton.

Those left to cherish Linda’s memory include her husband, Raymond Solis of Groves; her beloved daughter, Melissa Hebert of Nederland; great uncle, Jay Hilton and his wife Joi; sister-in-law, Alice Stom and her husband, Pat; sister-in-law, Shirley Simon and her husband, Melvin; sister-in-law, Arlene and her husband, Jerry Savoy; niece, Dianne Chesson and dear friends, Phyllis York, Linda King, Joy Jones and Celia Griggs.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Cascades at Port Arthur and Harbor Hospice for the love and care they provided Linda.
