Lissett Hernandez-Perez, 61, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
Lissett was born on September 6, 1960, in Matanzas, Cuba to Rafael Hernandez and Acelia Perez. She was a member of the Catholic Faith and a custodian for the Port Neches Independent School District. Lissett loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren who loved her very much. Her whole life was about working, religion and especially her family.
Survivors include her daughter who loved her loved her with her whole heart, Lissette Arango-Hernandez and her husband Febo of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Mia Torres-Arango and Mathias Torres-Arango both of Port Arthur; two sisters, Edelys Hernandez Perez and Odalys Hernandez-Perez; several cousins, nieces and nephews and other family members here in America and Cuba. She loved all her family and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. Cremation services were handled by Melancon Funeral Home in Nederland.
