Lois Opal (Glawson) Gant, 87, of Nederland passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019. She was born in Hemphill, Texas on April 16, 1932 to the late Stump Glawson and Lona (Brown) Glawson.

Those left to cherish Lois’s memory are her daughters, Deborah Gant DeRoche of Nederland and Judy Gayle Gant LaSalle and her husband, Ronnie of Nederland; her grandchildren, David Anderson DeRoche, Michael DeRoche, Sarah-Anne Sheffield, and Jennifer LaSalle; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a host of loving nieces and nephews; and her sister, Blanch.

A graveside service will be at Jack’s Cemetery in Pineland, Texas on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
