Lola "Belle" Sparrow, 84, of Groves, Texas passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Mid Jeff Extended Care in Nederland, Texas. Belle was born May 14, 1930 in Milam County, Texas to Clyde Taylor and Evie Belle Butterfield Taylor. She was a homemaker and area resident for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ray Sparrow, Sr. and nine siblings. Survivors include two daughters, Rae Marie Williams and husband Dwight of Mauriceville, TX and Mona D. Hanan and husband Gary of Groves, TX; one son, James Ray Sparrow, Jr. of Lovelady, TX; two sisters, Mavis Edington of Wilburton, OK and Sharon Linn of Santa Rosa, CA; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 26, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
