Loretta Lestage Beresky, 68, of Groves, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 4, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana to John and Sybil Gamble Lestage. Loretta was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She was a registered nurse with 21 years of service at Park Place Hospital and 23 years as a home health nurse. Loretta belonged to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas and had a huge heart to care for animals. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2012 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Groves with Monsignor Kenneth Greig officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with a rosary service to begin at 6:00 p.m. Loretta is survived by her husband of 45 years, Bill Beresky, Sr. of Groves, two daughters, Julie White and husband, Kelly of Houston, and Johnette Segura and husband, Agustin of Fannett, son, Charles Beresky of Houston, step-son, Bill Beresky, Jr. of Port Acres, and three grandchildren, Ashton Segura, Kai Segura, and Cruz Segura.
