Loretta Ann Davis, 75, of Port Acres, passed away on Saturday August 4, 2018 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. Loretta was born August 8, 1942 in Port Arthur to the late, Daniel Dugas and Gloria Mae Faulk.
Loretta is survived by her husband, Gerald Davis of Port Acres; her sons, James Daniel Garrett, Jr. and his wife, Anna of Port Acres, Robert Davis of Winnie; her sister, Peggy Lee of Taylor Landing; her brothers, Leon Dugas and his wife, Sherry of Nederland, Tommy Dugas and his wife, Mary of Nederland, Timmy Dugas and his wife, Wendy of Kountze, Joseph Dugas of Port Acres, Mark Dugas of Port Acres, David Dugas of Taylor Landing; nine grandchildren, Brandy Miller, David Lundine, Samuel Garrett, Christel Ferguson, Rachel Garrett, James Daniel Garrett III, Makahla Davis, Katelynn Davis, and Emma Davis; also fifteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Loretta will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland with Rev. Greg Kyler officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the funeral home.
