I am SO very sorry to read that Loretta has passed and I did NOT hear about it. My sister Connie and Loretta were best friends all their life. My sister came to Port Neches this weekend, and she wanted to go see Loretta, so we called her.. only to find out the number was no longer in service. I asked my sister if she was on Facebook, and Connie didn't know. So we looked........ ONLY to immediately burst out crying together....... I am just SO sad I didn't know about it in May..... Both Connie and I would have gone to the funeral and been there for the family...... WE LOVED her SO SO much, and I will always have very fond memories to carry in my heart of her at our house........ Love you SO much Loretta and may you rest in peace until we can see you again in Heaven....... what an angel Heaven has now......... :)

Where do I begin. I only found out today - that my oldest childhood friend was gone. Loretta & I had a lifetime of memories beginning from elementary years at St. Elizabeth's into high school then on to eventually becoming grandmothers. My last two trips home I couldn't reach her by phone and no answer at the door - only now I know why!! Words cannot express how missed she is......and knowing I must now wait till we meet again in glory!!! Our last talk together was sharing how much we enjoyed growing in Christ and all that God has blessed us with. Loretta - I LOVED you SO much and I KNOW you are indeed happy in Christ now. Thank you for your wonderful friendship - the years we've shared - and all of life's lessons you have taught me!! You have been a True blessing in my life!!! I miss you girlfriend!!!!!!

I am so sorry to learn about Loretta's passing. I was out of town last week and when I returned home, I saw her name in the Port Arthur News. Loretta did a lot of alterations for me and my family. She was a great seamstress. She always greeted me with a sweet smile and she always made me feel welcome. I consider Loretta one of my "special friends", and I will miss her very much. God Bless her family.

I haven't seen Loretta in years, but today I find myself heartbroken. I've thought about her often and told myself I have to get in touch with her and now she's gone. I grew up down the street from her in Port Neches, she was a very close friend to my mother and treated me and my sister like family. I hope she knew that she was a wonderful influence on my life, that I admired her kindness, strength and overall beauty inside and out.

I will always remember Loretta as the sweetest most beautiful woman. My most cherished childhood memories are the times at her house with Maragana and our moms. We Love you very much.
