Loretta McCord Lee, 76, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. She was born December 11, 1938 in Port Arthur, Texas to Carl McCord and Mattie Adams McCord. She was a lifelong area resident and a retired waitress. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ralph McCord. Survivors include her fianc, James O. Derouen of Fannett; daughter, Idell Mohle and her husband Chuck of Georgia; two sons, Rickey McDaniel and his wife Charlotte of Port Acres, and Shawn Critchlow; sisters, Carlie Waite and her husband Pat of Nederland, Donnis Romero and her husband Rodney of Groves; brother, Alton McCord and his wife Carline of Port Neches; sister-in-law, Nerena McCord of Mauriceville; grandchildren, Letty Robertson, Caley Wolfe, Caitlin Mohle, Brandie, Brandon, Little Rickey and Cheyenne McDaniel and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Nick Dignan officiating. Burial will follow at Burrell Cemetery in Fannett. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
