Lori Denise Dupuis, 61, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away August 23, 2021. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on February 27, 1960 to the late Melvin Joseph Dupuis and Catherine Lucille Thibodeaux Dupuis. Lori was a member of Immaculate Conception/St. Peter Catholic Church in Groves where she served with ACTS, CCD, Eucharistic Ministry, and the Bereavement Committee. She was a Care Giver to many Elderly and a Nanny to several special families.

Those left to cherish Lori’s memory are her sisters, Kitty Laws and her husband, Wayne of Port Bolivar and Renee’ and her husband, Drake of Groves; and her brother, Chris Dupuis and his wife, Debbie of Nederland. The greatest joy of her life were her nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Rebecca Sue Johnson.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 4:00 p.m. with the ACTS Women. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception/St. Peter Catholic Church in Groves on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., Rev. J. C. Coon celebrant. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
