Louise Kathryn Crampton, 97, of San Antonio, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at her residence. Louise was born on October 31, 1920, in Joplin, Missouri, to the late Charles O. Johnson, Sr. and Florence Degginger Johnson.
Louise is survived by her brother, Wayne Johnson and wife, Dorothy May of Galena, Kansas; grandchildren, Deanna Schaar and husband, Sergio of Spring Branch, TX, Rusty Bean and wife, Samara of Groves and a great-grandchild, Tatum Bean of Groves. Louise is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 48 years, Charles Crampton; daughter, Judy Carter; sisters, Eileen Wade, Mildred Hetherington and Dorothy Durham and a brother, Charles O. Johnson, Jr.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday, December 29, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., then the funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Donald Bean officiating, at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. The interment will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Nederland, TX.
