Loviece Hellums, 84, of Port Neches, Texas died Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Loviece was born January 14, 1928 in Eldorado, Oklahoma to Otis Louis Jordan and Ida Harvick Jordan. She was a resident of this area for 44 years and a member of First Baptist Church in Port Neches. She was the Office Manager for T.E. Moor Insurance-Port Arthur with 15 years of service and had previously worked at Atlantic Richfield. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Dr. David Mahfouz officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Sam Hellums. Surviving relatives include her daughter, Adra Ann Miller and husband Virgil of Beaumont, Texas; son, John Carrol Hellums and wife Patricia of Dayton, Texas; grandchildren, James Michael Fulmer and wife Sheila, Stacey Michelle Foster and husband Don, Sonia Dawn Douzat and husband J.E., Valeria Gele and husband Jason, and Christopher Miller; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; very best friend and caregiver, Phala Barnhill.
