Lucien Phillip “Sonny” Hebert of Wiergate, Texas, departed this worldly life for his heavenly one September 5, 2018 at the age of 96. He was born October 21, 1921 in Crowley, Louisiana and moved to Port Arthur, Texas at the age of six months. He has lived in Port
Arthur, Nederland, Bridge City, and Wiergate, Texas. Lucien served with honor in World War II in both the Army and the Air Force and saw duty in France, Germany, and Belgium. Sonny was a man among men. He was honest and forthright in his dealings with others and they loved him for it. He believed with all his heart if you didn’t want an enemy, make a friend of him. He lived up to his own advice. This was the passing of another good and honorable man.
